Welcome
Welcome to the Presbyters Training System! This online platform helps you complete your minister training at your own pace. Whether you’re preparing for licensure or continuing your education, this guide will help you navigate the system.

Getting Started
Step 1: Get Your Account
Your church administrator will create an account for you. You’ll need:
- A username (usually your email)
- A password
- The “Presbyter Student” role assigned to your account
If you don’t have an account yet, contact your Training Administrator.
Step 2: Log In
- Go to your church’s website
- Click Log In (usually in the top menu or sidebar)
- Enter your username and password
- Click Log In
Step 3: Find the Training Courses
After logging in:
- Look for Training Courses or Minister Training in the menu
- Click to open the course catalog
- You’re ready to start learning!

Browsing Courses
The Course Catalog
The course catalog shows all available training courses organized by volume.

The 5 Training Volumes
Courses are color-coded by volume:

Reading a Course Card
Each course card shows:
- Volume Badge β Color-coded volume number
- Course Title β Name of the course
- Description β Brief overview
- Lesson Count β Number of lessons
- Your Progress β Percentage complete (if started)

Opening a Course
Click any course card to see:
- Full course description
- List of all lessons
- Available assessments
- Your progress
Taking Lessons
Starting a Course
- Click a course to open it
- You’ll see the course details and lesson list
- Click the first lesson to begin

Reading a Lesson
The lesson viewer shows:
- Course title at the top
- Lesson title as a heading
- Lesson content β teaching material, scripture, explanations
- Progress bar β your overall course progress
- Navigation buttons β Previous and Next lesson

Marking a Lesson Complete
When you finish reading a lesson:
- Scroll to the bottom
- Click the Mark Complete button
- The button changes to show a checkmark
- Your progress updates automatically

Navigating Between Lessons
Use the navigation buttons:
- β Previous β Go to the previous lesson
- Next β β Go to the next lesson
Or click any lesson in the list on the course page.
Progress Tracking
- The progress bar fills as you complete lessons
- Completed lessons show a green checkmark
- Your progress is saved automaticallyβyou can leave and come back anytime
Taking Assessments
Finding Assessments
Assessments appear on the course page below the lessons list.

Assessment Card Information
Each assessment card shows:
- Assessment title
- Type badge β “Official Test” (gold) or “Practice Quiz” (blue)
- Number of questions
- Passing score required
- Time limit (if any)
- Your best result (if you’ve taken it before)
Starting an Assessment
- Click the assessment you want to take
- Review the information: number of questions, time limit, passing score
- Click Start Assessment

Practice Quiz vs Official Test

Answering Questions
- Read the question carefully
- Click your answer choice
- Click Next to continue
For Practice Quizzes:
- You’ll immediately see if you’re correct
- The correct answer is highlighted
- After a moment, you’ll move to the next question
For Official Tests:
- Your answer is saved
- Continue to the next question
- Results shown only after submission

Time Limits
If the assessment has a time limit:
- A timer shows at the top of the screen
- The timer turns yellow at 5 minutes remaining
- The timer turns red at 1 minute remaining
- When time runs out, your assessment submits automatically
Submitting Your Assessment
On the last question:
- Answer the question
- Click Submit Assessment
- Confirm by clicking Yes in the popup
- Wait for your results
Understanding Your Results
After submission, you’ll see:
Results Header:
- Score β Your percentage
- Pass/Fail Status β Whether you met the passing score
- Congratulations! or Keep Studying message
Question Breakdown:
- Each question listed with its number
- β Green check for correct answers
- β Red X for incorrect answers
- Your answer shown
- Correct answer shown (for wrong answers)

Retaking an Assessment
If you didn’t pass:
- Click Try Again on the results screen
- Review the lessons you found difficult
- Take the assessment again
Your best score is recorded, so don’t worry about a low score affecting your recordβjust keep trying!
Your Dashboard
Finding Your Dashboard
Click My Dashboard or Student Dashboard in the menu.
Dashboard Overview
Your dashboard shows:
- Progress Summary β Courses started, completed, average progress
- Recent Activity β Your latest lesson completions
- Points & Badges β Your achievements
- Continue Learning β Quick links to in-progress courses

Progress Rings
The circular progress indicators show:
- Courses Started β How many courses you’ve begun
- Courses Completed β Courses at 100%
- Average Progress β Your overall completion percentage
Earning Badges & Points
The Points System
Earn points by:

Viewing Your Badges
- Go to My Badges or view them on your Dashboard
- Earned badges appear in full color
- Locked badges appear grayed out with requirements

See how you compare to other students:
- Visit the Leaderboard page
- View rankings by total points
- Climb the ranks by completing more lessons and assessments!
Getting Your Certificate
Certificate Requirements
To earn a course certificate:
- β Complete 100% of the course lessons
- β Pass the Official Test for the course
Generating Your Certificate
When you meet the requirements:
- Go to your Dashboard
- Find the completed course
- Click Generate Certificate
- Your certificate appears!

Certificate Features
Your certificate includes:
- Your name
- Course name and volume
- Completion date
- Unique certificate number
- QR code for verification
Printing Your Certificate
- Click Print Certificate
- Use your browser’s print dialog
- Select a printer or save as PDF
Sharing Your Certificate
Anyone can verify your certificate:
- They scan the QR code with their phone
- Or visit the verification page with your certificate number
- The system confirms your achievement!
Tips for Success
Create a Study Schedule
- Set aside regular time for training
- Even 15-30 minutes a day adds up
- Consistency is key!
Take Notes
- Keep a notebook for important points
- Write down scripture references
- Note questions to ask your instructor
Review Before Assessments
- Re-read lesson content before taking tests
- Use Practice Quizzes to identify weak areas

Account & Access
Q: I forgot my password. What do I do?
Click “Lost your password?” on the login page, enter your email, and check your inbox for reset instructions.
Q: I can’t see the training courses. Why?
Make sure you’re logged in and have the “Presbyter Student” role. Contact your administrator if needed.
Q: Can I access training on my phone?
Yes! The training system works on phones and tablets. Just use your mobile browser.
Progress & Completion
Q: My progress didn’t save. What happened?
- Make sure you clicked “Mark Complete” on each lesson
- Check your internet connection
- Try logging out and back in
- Contact your administrator if the problem persists
Q: Do I have to complete courses in order?
No, you can take courses in any order. However, some advanced courses may reference earlier material.
Q: How long do I have to complete training?
There’s no time limit. Work at your own pace. Your progress is saved forever.
Assessments
Q: Can I retake an assessment?
Yes! You can retake assessments as many times as needed. Your best score is recorded.
Q: What if I run out of time on a timed assessment?
Your assessment will be submitted automatically with the answers you’ve completed.
Q: I passed but want a higher score. Can I retake it?
Yes, you can always retake assessments to improve your score.
Certificates
Q: When do I get my certificate?
After completing 100% of lessons AND passing the Official Test for a course.
Q: Can I get a paper certificate?
Yes! Print your digital certificate, or ask your administrator about official printed certificates.
Q: Is my certificate valid?
Yes! Each certificate has a unique number and QR code that can be verified online.
